Role Overview:
In this role, you will actively engage in providing a comprehensive range of dispute resolution services to our esteemed clientele, which includes commercial entities, institutions, and private individuals. The nature of the work will encompass a blend of general commercial litigation and contractual disputes.
Key Requirements:
In addition to your dispute resolution proficiency, the following capabilities will be crucial for success in this role:
- Conducting meetings and interviews with clients to understand their needs and concerns.
- Evaluating legal issues and providing sound advice to clients accordingly.
- Advising on costs, including the preparation of Letters of Engagement, ensuring transparency in financial matters.
- Conducting thorough legal research to inform case strategies and decisions.
- Drafting a variety of documents and letters to support legal proceedings and client communication.
- Active participation in internal and external courses as needed to stay updated on legal developments and best practices.
- Maintaining current knowledge of evolving laws and industry practices.
- Playing a pivotal role in the establishment and nurturing of long-term client relationships.
- Representing the Dispute Resolution Team at business development activities on behalf of the firm, as required.
