The team provides counsel to clients across a diverse spectrum of prominent domestic and global real estate endeavors, encompassing investments, retail ventures, development projects, and financial transactions. Their clientele comprises significant landlords, tenants, investors, hotel operators, funds, and insolvency experts. The team’s advisory services span landlord-tenant affairs, real estate transactions such as acquisitions and dispositions, substantial financings, as well as restructuring and insolvency dealings.
In this role, you will engage in a wide-ranging array of real estate tasks, assuming a pivotal role in both business development initiatives and dedicated client service teams. Your primary focus will be on the team’s key retail clients.
- Taking the lead in various aspects of real estate, including finance, investment-driven sales and acquisitions (including corporate share purchases), development projects, restructuring, and insolvency transactions.
- Creating, assessing, and negotiating a range of commercial real estate documents, encompassing sales and purchase contracts, development agreements, as well as lease agreements, and agreements related to leases.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating security documents and additional property-related paperwork pertinent to real estate finance transactions.
- Collaborating with their tax, planning, construction, employment, corporate, and banking teams as necessary.
- Addressing standard real estate due diligence prerequisites, such as preparing or reviewing certificates and title reports, along with summary reports.
- Actively engaging in business development activities.
- Conducting transactional work involving sales, purchases, leasing, and portfolio management, in addition to handling general commercial property matters.
- Managing asset-related work, including tasks related to shopping centres, and resolving landlord-tenant leasing issues.
