Our client is seeking a construction solicitor to join their highly regarded national construction practice. This presents an excellent opportunity for career growth within a top-ranked firm, working alongside a well-established team of 4 partners and 15+ lawyers. While the role primarily focuses on transactional work, associates interested in maintaining a diverse practice can be accommodated. With a strong pipeline of projects and a clear team structure, this position offers significant potential for advancement to senior roles.
Duties will include:
- Drafting amendments to standard forms such as the JCT and NEC suites.
- Providing ongoing project and strategic legal advice.
- Drafting consultant appointments, collateral warranties, parent company guarantees, bonds, and other legal documents.
- Negotiating key construction terms.
- Assisting with substantial corporate, real estate, and funding transactions.
