This is an interesting opportunity for a commercial property lawyer to join a team that has thrived throughout the pandemic and quickly and easily adapted its working pattern. The team benefits from highly efficient and organised administrative support and will continue with some regular remote working, for the longer term, for those that wish.
The successful candidate will join a busy and passionate team of commercial property experts and will work with colleagues at all levels in their career, will manage their own caseload, and will also provide support and assistance to more junior members of the team who are keen and eager to learn and progress.
The successful candidate will need to have previous experience of handling development work, acting for developers on the acquisition of land, and then on plot sales, development agreements to include option agreements, overage arrangements, and promotion agreements. Purchase of commercial property to include land, retail, and commercial units. Lease work acting for both landlords and tenants. Experience in finance work and acting for lenders and borrowers.
